Un modo que puedes utilizar es usar el programa SUBRIP, que hace un escaneo OCR de los subtitulos.

La última  prueba que te queda es desmontar la Placa base y montarla "al aire", hay veces que las placas base hacen contacto con la caja y no arrancan. Si montada al aire y utilizando componentes que sabes que van entonces seguramente tu placa esta muerta. También podría ser el procesador, pero no recuerdo si en ese caso la placa base pitaba.

Para mejorar la calidad del video comprime a doble pasada y utiliza un bitrate entre 1000 y 2000 kbit/s, te recomiendo que uses la versión 5.2.1 del codec DivX. Además asegurate que las dimensiones del video (ancho x alto) sean múltiplios de 8 (16 si es posible).

There are three main causes for this to happen:

1. You are trying to compress a video in a format that is not supported by the codec. This will usually mean that the frame height and width are incorrect or that the color depth is not valid. To see what restrictions there are for a codec go to video-->compression and select the codec. The codec restrictions will now appear in a box right of the middle in this window.

2. It happens when trying to play the file in VirtualDub. This is the result of a codec that is trying to decompress a video stream, which it actually cannot handle. This shouldn't be happening, but there are a few codecs (e.g. Panasonic DV) that will try to decompress anything they can get their hands on. Check the file info in VirtualDub and look up the codec used for decompression. Then uninstall/disable this codec and open the file again and see if it plays. It might be possible that with opening the file you will get another type of error message, which will be dealt with now.

3. This error is also common with DivX and can have two main possible causes for it. First of all, it is recommended that in the advanced setting of the DivX config, you disable "Do not prompt with errors and warnings". Why this setting is not disabled by default I don't know, complain to DivX about it. If you now start your encode again an error message will appear. Usually there are problems with the logfile or the dimensions of your video are not correct. With DivX hardware profiles enabled, there are maximum resolutions you can encode with (e.g. 720x576 is the maximum res for the Home Theatre profile). It could also be that you have issues as described at number 1.

El módulo de exportación del Adobe Premiere Pro es una ****** , para exportar DivX  ya hay problemas y en XVID directamente no se puede. Tal vez usando Adobe Premiere 6.5 te funcionara, pero tampoco es seguro, por lo tanto te tocará usar un frameserver (http://www.debugmode.com/frameserver/)

Como muestra te dejo unos hilos del foro de Doom9, que son los gurús del video digital en internet, y comentan que la solución es exportar o a otro formato (DV, HUYFFYUV) o usar un servidor de video (frameserver)

Prueba a cambiar la RAM de lugar (incluso prueba con otra RAM) y deja sólo conectada la tarjeta gráfica.

Extrae las pistas de audio sin modificar el video y comprueba su duración (si son diferentes ahí tienes el fallo). Abre un editor de sonido y carga las pistas de sonido en dos tracks diferentes,. ahora lo que te toca es a ojimetro ajustar la pista en inglés a la española para que la duración sea la misma y la forma de la onda coincida (los dialogos obviamente no, pero los efectos y la música si). Luego guardas el audio en inglés y ya lo puedes añadir al video.

También puedes uysar un editor de Video si te resulta más comodo, así además puedes cargar al pista de video.
