Hola, buenas tardes a todos. Vereis, os cuento mi problema. Hace un par de días que tengo el nuevo Avid, la v. 5.0.3. El caso es que durante la instalación todo fue correctamente pero mientras carga me aparece un error y me cierra el programa. He hecho una captura y me gustaría saber si alguien tiene idea de que puede ser y todo eso. Por si sirve para algo tengo un MacBook Pro de 2008, Intel Core 2 Duo 2,55 Ghz. 4gb de Ram y Snow Leopar 10.6.5.
Lo dicho, muchas gracias a todos por atenderme unos segundos.

Al final del post puede acklarate mas. por ejemplo, hay un usuario que si desconecta la ethernet se soluciona, y otro que si cambia de la sesion y abre como administrador tambien se soluciona....

I am getting this AMPI error now also.  I have been running a trial version and just attached a dongle to it.  When the software gets to "Initializing Audio Plugins" the AMPI error appears.  The system specs are as follows..

Mac OS 10.6.4, 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2Gb RAM

I have another (admin) login on this machine which does allow Media Composer to launch and operate successfully.  This other (admin) login is the one I would usually use so I am not totally hosed but I do need MC to run using this second (standard) login.  Tried turning AirPort and Bluetooth off but this didn't help.  No ethernet connected.  But here is where it gets rather interesting.

I noticed there were some preference changes that just would not stick with this alternate (standard) login so I made a brand new one and now Media Composer launches! (hurrah!)  This user is an administrative user but he alternate user needs to be a Standard userr.  So I created a new Standard user, logged in and launched Media Composer.  Software runs just fine.

I concluded therefore that there was something "funky" with my alternate (standard) login.  For the record, after trashing this login and creating a new login, the new login was given the same name and password as the old one so nothing changed there.

Basicamente te dice que con la cuenta de administrador le funcionaba bien el soft, sin embargo con una cuenta normal no le iba. Ha creado una nuevo usuario y ya le corre bien el programa....
