weno deciros que... que consegui la forma de configurar para que virtualdub capture en dv y era cogiendo el ffdshow video codec en compresion y dale a configure ahi coger DV en el menu desplegable... lo que pasa es que le doi a start capture y me dice que no va en concreto me dice: Cannot Start Video Compression may be corrupted data error code -100
estoy desesperado... ya me voi a rendir... no encuentro la solucion para pasar vhs a dvd manteniendo la maxima calidad...

Por lo que no debería de darte problemas. No obstante no veo "fourcc DV, que es necesario para dichas capturas. [/FONT]

Para que el codec DV lo "vea" VirtualDub tiene que estar instalado en el sistema y XP no lo tiene. Puedes probar con Cedocida codec Dv, es gratuito.

El mensaje anterior lo estaba escribiendo mientras publicabas la lista. Estoy horrorizado porque esos Morgan y otros codecs me indican que parece que tienes instalado un codec-pack. Que Dios nos coja confesados...

Y que lo digas Xarqus, yo no he querido comentarle nada, pero si nos fijamos detenidamente en el "chocho" de codec que hay en la lista, podremos ver conviviendo, por no decir peleando, a los MTXX con los VTXX  USEASE:  Maxtor contra Nvidia
 
Amigo Marion22, si no te funciona la solución del codec Cedocida, entonces mejor desinstala TOOOOOODOS los CODEC de tu sistema y a empezar de nuevo. con la instalación del amigo CEdi

marion yo capturo en yuv2 sin compresion, edito y comprimo luego a mpeg2 y fabuloso, probando a capturar con cualquier codec estas comprimiendo y si luego vuelves acomprimir a mpeg2 estas comprimiendo 2 veces.

deciros que ya estoy capturando vhs con calidad muy aceptable!! gracias a vosotros... despues de probar y probar lo que mas calidad me da es (para otros que estuvieran en mi mismo lugar):
con el virtualdub capturar a resolucion de 720x576 con YUV2 sin compresion,
despues editarlo con el premiere (es el que uso) y pasarlo a DVD con el adobe encore CS3.
el resultado para mi es bastante bueno
