hermano jamas eh usado ese formato, pero mira intenta poner donde tienes tu rack de captura de cineform intenta en una de las pestañas tiene un convertidor, ah mira lo encontre se puede. el rack es el HD link aqui esta como hacerlo. HDlink si convierte de

HDLink is accessible via the [COLOR=#NaNNaNNaN][HIGHLIGHT=#a0ffff]CineForm[/HIGHLIGHT][/COLOR] folder under the Start menu.

Operation

Step 1 - [COLOR=#NaNNaNNaN][HIGHLIGHT=#ffff66]AVCHD[/HIGHLIGHT][/COLOR] Decoder: In order to convert [COLOR=#NaNNaNNaN][HIGHLIGHT=#ffff66]AVCHD[/HIGHLIGHT][/COLOR] files into [COLOR=#NaNNaNNaN][HIGHLIGHT=#a0ffff]CineForm[/HIGHLIGHT][/COLOR] Intermediate files, you need a supported [COLOR=#NaNNaNNaN][HIGHLIGHT=#ffff66]AVCHD[/HIGHLIGHT][/COLOR] decoder installed on your PC. Option 1: If you are a Premiere Pro CS3 user, you already have an Adobe-supplied [COLOR=#NaNNaNNaN][HIGHLIGHT=#ffff66]AVCHD[/HIGHLIGHT][/COLOR] decoder. HDLink is compatible with this decoder, so you do not need to download another decoder.

Option 2: Core AVC (http://www.coreavc.com/) This is not a free decoder, but we have determined it to be a consistently reliable one. There are two versions of the CoreAVC product - Standard and Professional. We recommend the Professional version for maximum performance and compatibility.

If neither of these decoders are installed, HDLink will look for other decoders on the system that support [COLOR=#NaNNaNNaN][HIGHLIGHT=#ffff66]AVCHD[/HIGHLIGHT][/COLOR] decoding. Compatibility is not guaranteed in this case (we have found that feature and function vary greatly), and you will be shown a warning or error message in the HDLink log.

Step 2 - Media Splitter: Also required to complete the conversion is an installed compatible media splitter. The supported splitter is the Haali Media Splitter, available for free from http://haali.cs.msu.ru/mkv/.

Similarly, if HDLink cannot find the Haali Media Splitter on your system, it will attempt the conversion using whatever components may exist on the machine, which may result in conversion failure. You will see a warning or error message in the HDLink log in such a case.

Step 3 - File Conversion. Open HDLink, click on the Convert tab as shown. Click Select Files, then point at the files you want converted, then click START. (You can select other options during the file conversion process by clicking the Prefs button, but that is not the subject of this Tech Note).

Step 4 - Edit. You're ready to go....

Prospect HD/2K/4K v3.3 or later

using the components outlined above. Previous product versions rely on different components on your system, which may or may not provide for reliable conversions.
NOTE about Audio: If you are not properly converting audio, you may not have an AC3 decoder installed. Many software packages install an AC3 decoder, but if not, you can get a free AC3 decoder here: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/ac3_filter.htm.

por que ya usas premiere espero que sea cs3

Hector Jesus, muchas gracias por tu ayuda, de verdad te has preocupado del tema y sin duda me has ayudado. Ya he conseguido convertir el AVCHD (.m2ts) a un .AVI desde el cineform.
Entiendo que es mucho mejor editar desde este AVI, aunque ocupe mucho más, que directamente desde el .m2ts.

No entiendo porque me preguntas si uso Premiere CS3 si este proceso de conversión no interviene.

me parece que cineform no anda bien con cs2 o no recuerdo...solo por eso....y cs3 cuando corras en after effects te dara problemas, tengo la solucion apuntada, pro que no podras visualizar avi.s de cinefrom en el after cs3......pero ahora si lo siento se me jodio mi disco duro de mi pc personal y ahi tengo toda esa informacion.....de como hecharlo a andar....

Hector,

mis versiones de AE y Premiere son la CS4. He realizado alguna prueba más y el fichero .AVI generado en la conversión lo edito perfectamente en AE pero al intentar importarlo el Premiere me da el siguiente error

Premiere Pro has encountered an error
[..\..\Src\RemoteImporterModule.cpp-251]

La verdad es que me está dando bastantes problemas esta versión CS4 que me tira cuando inserto un video en la linea de tiempo.

El SONY Vegas tambien puede editar el .AVI convertido en el cineform.

asi funciona el cineform avi en after cs4? wahoooooooooo que bien, yo no lo eh instalado por que aun no tengo mi tarjeta nueva de video, solo falta ir por ella, pues podrias usar como editor no lineal vegas instalando el plugin por ahi vi un torrent con el que ya funcionaba el cineforma dale busqueda en google.....en caso de que no podrias usar premiere cs3 por que ahi si jala perfecto el tal cineform......yo lo eh usado, el problema seria en prmiere cs4 y after effects cs3.....entonces usar uno y uno vendria muy bien....

y en el premiere cs4 la verdad no hay nada que hacer vi un comentario de david newman presidente y creador de cineform y pues pedia que actualizaramos, por ya funciona...podrias ver si te gustaria adquirir neo scene por solo 129 dls la verdad esta muy bien podrias usar avchd y hdv con el cineform---- ya para cs4 listo pero son 129 dls si es algo de dinerito....

La version 8 del Sony Vegas (que es la que tengo) ya viene con el codec de Cineform.

No creo que te vaya bien con el cineform que incluye vegas ya que no tiene el codec para convertir desde AVCHD. (eso creo)

Por otro lado, si lo que requieres es la conversión a un archivo de la misma calidad y el mismo espacio, puedes utilizar el upshift de Avasst que lo hace como de rayo y su salida será en un m2t mpeg2, de la misma calidad que tu m2ts de mpeg4 y prácticamente del mismo peso con la diferencia de poderlo editar sin ningún problema y con la ventaja de tenerlo en un formato de salida final, con lo que te ahorras la conversión del último paso...

Este programa es sumamente económico y ademas tiene un Batch Render muy bueno y todas las configuraciones que requieras modificar..

Este es el que utilizo personalmente.
