Resumiendo:

• El codec DivX 6 se incluye dentro del paquete DivX Create Bundle y del paquete DivX Player Bundle. Además se incluye la versión DivX Pro con un periodo de prueba de 6 meses (se instala por defecto, pero se puede desactivar y dejar la versión normal)
• El DivX Converter (incluido dentro del paquete "Create") tiene un periodo de prueba de 15 días, transcurrido el cual debemos comprarlo. El periodo de prueba del DivX Pro es de 6 meses.
• Se incorpora el formato DivX Media, que permite la creación de menús en los archivos DivX

De pago solamente? Pues o me quedo con el divx 5.2.2 y cuando el XVID lo supere (actualmente no lo hace), al XVID...

igualmente me quedo con Xvid, y si algun dia pago por un codec, sera por alguno del tipo VP6 (si de calidad estamos hablando).

Yo esperaré un tiempo para que los gurús de Doom9 se pronuncien al respecto, no me gustan los cambios bruscos.

De momento a seguir usando las version 5.xx (la gratuita claro )

Modifico lo dicho en uno de mis mensajes, la versión DivX 6  si que está disponible en su versión normal, lo que ocurre es que por defecto el instalador nos instala también la versión Pro.

En la captura de pantalla que adjunto se puede observar claramente. Por defecto viene todo activado, yo para hacer la prueba he desactivado el DivX Player y el DivX Pro.

Esto cambia la cosa... Probaremos...

No recomiendo el cambio de DivX 5.2.1 a DivX 6. Mi consejo es que sigais con la 5.2.1, al menos de momento.

Me gusta como insisten en sus porcentajes ilusorios. Con cada release de una nueva version del codec, indican X o Y incremento en la calidad de imagen, reduccion de tamaño, incremento en la velocidad de codificacion, y no se cuantas fantasias mas.

Si DivX cumpliera sus promesas con esos porcentajes que postea en cada version, a estas fechas ya podriamos meter 'Titanic' en tan solo 200 megabytes con una calidad espectacular.

Aquí está el log con los cambios de las 2 últimas versiones de DivX. La versión 6.03 soluciona múltiples fallos de la version 6.0, aún así yo os recomiendo encarecidamente que continueis con la versión 5.2.1, ya que es la más estrable y compatible desde mi punto de vista.
