Buenas.

Tengo un AVI con dos pistas de audio. Cuando lo reproduzco con un DVD de sobremesa compatible con MPEG-4 la pista 1 se oye sin problemas (es la versión en inglés), pero la pista 2 (la de castellano) queda desfasada respecto de la imagen.

Lo primero que se me ocurrió fue cambiar el orden de las pistas de audio con el VirtualDubMod, pero algo raro pasa, pues mientras está en el proceso de dubbing, el log muestra continuamente el siguiente mensaje:

Processing thread has not cycled for ten seconds -- possible livelock

Y el progreso se queda como bloqueado hasta que tengo que apagar el VDM por las bravas.

Tampoco puedo extraer ninguna pista en wav ni nada por el estilo, os paso el análisis del GSpot por si se os ocurre algo.

Segun eso, ahi dice que el codec DivX no está instalado, tal vez eso provoque el mal funcionamiento del VirtualdubMOD. Instala la version 5.2.1 del codec y asegurate de usar la última versión estable del programa VirtuadubMOD.

CitarI had similar problems with livelock for video longer than 10 minutes and found out it was my Creative soundcard mp3 drivers which limit encoding. If you have a Creative soundcard then search for a file in the system directory (winnt for windows 2000 - windows for windows xp) called CTMP3.acm and rename it to CTMP3.acm.bak and it fixed the problem for me.

If it doesnt fix the problem then just rename the files back. Good luck!

My Sys: AMD XP2200, ATI AIW 8500 128MB, 1GB Ram, XP Pro, SB Audigy, WMP 9 w/encoder, etc. ......
GSpot states I have 72 video codecs and 42 audio codecs installed.

My problem was related to XP Pro and its handling of the audio codecs. (multi installed 0x0055(MP3) ID'd as MPEG-1 Layer 3). XP Pro seems to pick the the first codec it finds with like settings, for example using 96kBit/s 44,100Hz, Stereo, 12KB/s, several codecs use these settings and it appears that XP Pro was not using the codec I was assigning to Virtual Dub "Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec (Professional)" w/(same audio settings request), XP Pro uses the very first codec it finds with the same like settings.

My FIX: control panel, system, hardware, device manager, sound video and game controllers, audio codecs, audio codec properties, properties, and CHANGE THE PRIORITY of the audio codec your wanting to use from xx to a higher priority (from 12 to 1 for example)... (Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec Professional was priority 12 and I changed it to priority 1 and my problem was fixed).

I have been using Virtual Dub since v. 1_4 with no problems with the various Virtual Dub version upgrades along the way with older systems (w/PI, PII, etc. 98,ME) and when I upgraded my system (listed above) in sept 2002 with XP Pro I have been fighting this problem.

Sure hope this helps others, Virtual Dub (v 1.5.10) now
works great (for me) just like in the good old days!

Probé las dos soluciones que encontraste en Google y ni flowers, sin embargo, resultó funcionar lo más evidente que me aconsejaste.

Utilicé una nueva versión de VirtualDubMod y funcionó a la perfección. Para mí esta solución era la menos factible porque llevaba años utilizando la misma versión y siempre había respondido bien, pero lo que son las cosas, más sabe el diablo por viejo que por diablo.
